Our Story

The Foundry Advisory is a Christ-centered peer advisory for established Christian business owners who are ready for what’s next. It’s a place where faith and business aren’t separated, and where leadership decisions, strategy, and stewardship are processed alongside peers who share your convictions and your level of responsibility.

Everything we do is guided by a proven framework that helps leaders sharpen their thinking, align decisions with faith, and follow through with clarity and accountability.

The Foundry Advisory began with a single group in 2022 and has grown into multiple cohorts and a thriving member community. Along the way, we’ve seen a consistent pattern: leaders gain clarity faster, make better decisions with fewer regrets, and experience stronger leadership growth when they’re not carrying it alone.

Our role is simple. We create the right room, ask the right questions, and facilitate conversations that help Christian business owners lead with wisdom, confidence, and faith—so you can do the work God has entrusted to you, well.

Hunter runs a seven-figure digital marketing agency in Fort Collins, Colorado. While scaling his company to 17 employees, he encountered leadership challenges he couldn’t solve alone. His experience in peer advisory—and his conviction that faith should inform leadership—sparked the vision for The Foundry Advisory.

Rick Scadden is an Executive Pastor with over 10 years of executive and ministry experience. Once a four-time felon, Rick’s journey from a troubled past to full-time pastoral leadership is a testament to the power of redemption and grace. Now, as a passionate leader, teacher, and preacher, he dedicates his life to guiding others on their spiritual journeys and fostering community through faith.

Rick’s leadership extends beyond the pulpit—he brings vision, compassion, and commitment to every aspect of his ministry. His experiences, both challenging and transformative, have shaped his approach to preaching and counseling, emphasizing second chances and the unconditional love of Christ.

Rick is married to his wife, Lacey, and together they have three children: Sadie, Amariah, and Josiah. Outside of his pastoral duties, Rick enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly fly fishing, which allows him to connect with God’s creation in a personal way.
